    Hello,

I'm going to be visiting Ottawa in a couple of weeks for a conference, and thought I'd do a bit of Star Wars shopping while I'm in town. There must be a few things you guys have available that we can't get here in Australia.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it :)

    Cheers.

Theres a few places that come to mind but I'm sure my fellow Ottawians can think of more.

The Comic Book Shoppe (1400 Clyde Avenue (613) 228-8386 and, 237 Bank Street (613) 594-3042)
Silver Snail Comics (391 Bank Street (613) 232-2609)

    Thanks atomik. :)

Nothing like a little local knowledge. Looks like Bank St is where its all at, and might even be within walking distance of where I'm staying, according to Google Maps.

Miss TIggy Winkles. I don't know what Star Wars stuff is there, but it's a good toy store. It's in the Rideau Centre.

No problem Darth_Meanders, yeah that part of Bank Street is almost the heart of downtown Ottawa. Infact if you keep going north from there you are like 10 minutes walking distance from Parliament. Enjoy your trip! :)

Shoppe on Bank St > That place on Merivale > Silver Snail > All else

Don't get me wrong, the Snail has its own fanbase - notably the slightly older and more "dignified" crowd that want to stop by after their work in one of the downtown offices to pick up a Spiderman figure...but the Shoppe is where it's all at.

Unless I'm mistaken, one of the Ottawa FFers used to work at the Shoppe even, Mokitty still around?

Thanks again for all the help people :)

I had a successful shopping trip on the weekend - now I just need a bigger suitacase ;)

Thought you might be interested to see about my "little friend" who is travelling with me and reporting all his adventures back home,

Well besides The Comic Book Shoppe on Clyde, there is one called Toys on Fire. The website is: toysonfire.com

    Hope that helps!
