*But wait! --what is this? It seems Meave has fallen asleep! Our heroine thinks furiously, gathering her wits about her. She cannot wait another minute to take action. She whispers to her mysterious companion, who nods in compliance and hands her the needed supplies, which she then conceals in her clothing.*

*Our heroine strolls back into the Nite Owl and greets the unsuspecting patrons heartily.*
