i rather get the sense that mon mothma is rather politicly left, she once said something like "big warships/imp stars are mean" iirc as to why she would not beef up the new rep fleet, thats a real gem of a commit.

    Darth Flanders is one.

However, some actual characters that are left-handed (based on their AOTC fighting styles) are Pablo Jill, Kit Fisto, Luminara Unduli, Mace Windu, and Shaak Ti.

Leia strikes me as a lefty. One of those slightly-divorced-from-reality lefties, but a lefty. Palpatine was probably left of center before the Clone Wars - something like a FDR in tone.

Jade wielded weapons quite often in her left hand.

Catholic may mean 'universal' but I doubt you'll find any left footers in the GFFA.

    Leia.

She believes in freedom and live and live and all that. High IQ, creative.

Actually Leia is right handed and the most crack shot in the galaxy. I was reading fun facts, and quick draw Leia has hit any target she has aimed for. She's never missed. (She kinda spased with that one speeder guy on Endor, but made up for it with her one shot at that guy on a AT AT).

Are you asking about politics or if any SW character is a southpaw?

Leia misses a few shots during that scene in A New Hope above the death star chasm.

More like Hitler wearing FDR's robes.

    Damn Machievellian leaders!

Well, Jango Fett is ambidextrous...however thats spelled. Then again i think all Mandalorians are trained to be ambidextrous.

Is he truly ambidextrous? or just skilled enough in weapons to use weapons in both hand as if each was his dominant... can/does he write/use chopsticks/bat with either hand as easily?

More likely the latter. My old man could do the same thing.

As for politics, I say 90% of the politicians on both sides are full of condensed bantha ****.

You mean there might actually be a left-handed Jedi or two out of the 10,000 or so there were before the Clone Wars? The devil you say! :p

Be kinda nice to see one, though. I feel a bit disenfranchised that everyone in the GFFA is a right-hander. :p

Tahiri is the only EU character I can think of who is mentioned as being "left-handed."

Hayden Christensen is ambidexterous, though David Prowse was right handed. They took pains and try to get him to default to the right-handed style in AOTC/ROTS, but there are points where it slips through and he uses his left (it's mentioned somwhere that Hayden defaults to his left in sports like hockey).

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if most Jedi were trained to be ambidexterous. You would assume it came naturally to them.

Er, but if we're talking politically, the Skywalker family, with the exception of Anakin, is about as left-thinking as they come without being too extremist...
