That is how I felt for Celebration 1. I tried to raise money with my friend so we could go but it only got us like $2.50. I didn't go to Celebration 2 because it was so far away. I was offered a job there but didn't get to go. Celebration 3 I am just bitter about. So I can't WAIT!!!!! for Celebration 4. Its about time I go to one. :p

    I need a good costume now. [face_plain]

Very possibly. If I can set enough money aside from rent and all to be able to afford it, I'll definitely be making an attempt to go. So we shall see!

No costumes on ebay worth buying though. I may have to pay someone to make me something. :p

My godmother (with whom I'm currently living) is an expert seamstress and a very nice lady, so if you can't find something anytime soon, but you have some ideas for a costume, I could introduce you two and you could work with her to put something together. That goes for anybody, actually, haha. She probably wouldn't charge for her help so long as you bought the fabric and all.

Hopefully I'll have completed a set of sandtrooper armour by the time next May rolls by and be able to go as a part of Garrison Titan. But as always we shall see. School tends to make these things not happen, heh.

My idea is to use my old prom dress (which I never really liked and will otherwise never wear) and modify it somehow. Weird, but it could work.

Ok, I'm a touch OCD, so we should start planning NOW. When to get there, how, etc. The first day is for Fan Club members (which I am), so what should we do?

    I'm so hyper!!!! [face_coffee]

I have tons of experience in costuming and props and such.

    Be happy to help out.

We can have building days and such if people REALLY have an interest.

Figures I move out of SoCal THEN they have a Celebration there.

    Most likely I will go.

I have my costume being made, and the women doing it(my moms friends) is awesome... I did the design and she is sewing it. This was my design... http://www.geocities.com/mikyl_sandoval6/conceptart.html
If you have ideas and want to get together, I can draw them out, and make patterns...she is a quality seamstess and is reasonable. Thats a good idea for a meeting.???hint hint wink wink!

I went to CIII and it was the worst experience I've ever had. They only thing that saved it was meeting people from Rebel Legion and The Jedi Assembly.

I spent all that money and didn't get into a SINGLE thing because the lines were so long. Gen Con did a horrible job and they get rewarded for it with a contract to do CIV. It required 2-3 hours of standing in line EVERY day just to get IN the building! In Indy, it was 38 degrees and raining/snowing. In CA, it will be HOT.

That would be a NO, I won't waste my money again.

Sorry to hear that things went so bad for you JediKai.
C3 was my first con ever. So I had nothing to compare it to. I had a great time and I am already looking forward to going to C4.
And, this time I'll have a costume.

When I they FINALLY officially announced C4, I was excited! C4 is actually the reason why I'm interested in costuming. I want to have a cool Jedi costume to wear!

But I'm planning on heading down the weekend before C4 so maybe I'll see some of you down there if not before!

Yes, otherwise Tony Man would cry. [face_plain]

Besides, any excuse to go to Disneyland is a good one. :D

I was checking out the l.a.f.f. website and found a really cool interactive map of l.a. so we could really plan our trip best!

Also let me know if everyone agrees we should go down a couple days early, and what days we'll be there and I'll start looking up different options, and I'll have that by next meeting.
