any plans to release a Tales like book for the outlander club?

well, i was wondering. there's one that details some people from the mos eisley cantina, and one that details some more people from Jabba's Palace. anybody know if there is a book out like this already?

 

I think they should, but it doesn't seem they will. I waited for years for a Tales of the Boonta Eve Classic, but that never came...

 

I've often thought there's some great unused Tales From? idea's out there, those two especaily, and maybe Tales From The Coruscant Opera House, or something like that. I'd love to see 3, or more, Tales From books for the prequals, but I can't see Del Ray doing it, especially since we have Whats The Story and the short story reprints on Hyperspace, still, It'd be nice to get them in a book, and maybe have some of the WTS's expanded to short stories.

There is a Tales of the Rebellion book. Along with Mos Eisley Cantina, Bounty Hunters, Jabba's Palace, and Empire.

I agree that there should definetly be prequel Tales books. There are just so many options: Boonta Eve Classic, Outlander Club, Dex's Diner, Opera House, etc.


EDIT: And I just realized it's Tales from the New Republic, not Tales from the Rebellion. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtin.

 

What about Star Wars Tales: the Delegation of 2000?

 

Now that'd be a looooong book.

 

What about Tales From The Clone Wars? Could include Ellusion Illusion, Death in the Catacombs, The League of Spies, The Pengalan Tradeoff, Omega Squad: Targets, Heroes of Cartao, Changing Seasons, etc in chrono order.

Tales From Watto's Lockup?

Tales From The Senate?

Tales From Tipoca City?

 

Tales from the Jedi Council?
Tales from the Unknown Regions?

I actually had a dream once that I saw a book called "Tales from New Republic Intelligence". I was sad when I woke up and realized it wasn't real.

 

How about:

Tails from the Mos Espa Zoo?

 

"Tales of the Empire" was probably the closest thing we had to a Rebellion version of one of these books. Empire, or the previously mention "Tales From the New Republic."

I personally would have liked to have seen a "Tales of the NJO" that focused on minor characters instead of the "Skywalker/Solo" clan and pals for the most part. But, since Bantam published the "Tales from/of the..." books, it's unlikely we'll ever see another novel along these lines.

 

Am I the only one who wants a Tales of the Mandalorians?

 

Probably. Not that we wouldn't read it, but...

 

Between History of the Mandalorians, Republic Commando and all its literature/comic spinoffs, the KOTOR/Galaxies games, the Fett books, and now this new Traviss article, they've already done the best they can to flood the market with Mandalorian stuff. Why not focus on stuff less developed?

Especially since a Tales of the Mandalorians would most likely be more Traviss-class uber-Mando fanservice.

 

I love to know Yee Moh's an the other two Neimoidians that were with her stories, one of them was jumping around like he/she was on drugs.

 

I think Tales from the New Jedi Order, or Tales from the YV, or maybe Tales from the Jedi would be good. Tales from the Starfleet? i dunno just throwing some ideas
