FF:NZ Any Wellingtonians in here????

Argghhhh! Been trying all week to get my regisration to go through! At Last!!

I'm from Wellington, and a 501st member, and a Kiwi... think that covers most of the issues that you've been talking about!

If anyone cares, there'll be a small troop of 501st members heading the the Manners Mall Theatre tonight for a couple of hours.

 

Good to hear from you BH2776, Welcome. How many Troop members live in Wellington and will they all be there tonight?

 

I'm the only true local... We've got two troopers from Levin and a Vader from Napier.

We'll be floating around from 5:30ish... don't know how long we'll be trooping, it's been a hard week!

If you're asking me... Yes today, as in Saturday.

We are looking at hitting a couple of sessions from 5:00pm onwards.. but it may change.

Ok, for next Tuesdays ROTS "date" we will be aiming to go for the 8.55 show. Does that make it easier for everyone.

We are happy to buy the tickets in one go for everyone on Monday, so let us know if you want one. (As long as 100 people dont suddenly live in welly and want a ticket - the Credit Card aint that big!)

Lindy Hop is a form of swing dancing, as is Rock'n'Roll.

Lindy is a 30's/40's dance that you'd see in most war movies if they had a dance piece, and if you've seen Marilyn Manson's Mobscence video, it's in there too oddly.

Rock'n'Roll is also know as east coast swing.
