It may still be too early, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this.

Probably too early for tickets, but not too early to start camping out in line ;) outside your local theater!

Yea, definitely way too early yet.

Once it gets closer, though, I'll probably go to the theater itself two weeks in advance and get the tickets. Not sure if the theaters in your area offer that but that's what I did for ROTS and it worked great. And of course, it gotta be the midnight showing. ;)

I'm sure they'll be midnight showings.

What I really want is a theatre doing a marathon showing of all of them [face_frustrated]

I'm planning on going to a DLP theater for the midnight showing. It's about an hour's drive, but it'll be worth it. Once tickets go on sale, they're gonna sell pretty quickly.

Strilo's right, I just went on Fandango and signed up for the email alert for when you can get them.

If you could choose between a DLP theater and an IMAX theater, would you still want the DLP one?

Tickets won't sell out that fast. I plan on just walking to my theatre about a week before the release to get my ticket.

That may not be a possibility. I just found an article that Indy IV will not be shown in digital theaters:

What? I'm sorry, you lost me after the first two words... [face_love]

DLP = Digital Light Projection. Digital projected theatres, in other words. No film. Movie on a hard drive.

I'd drink the blood of Kali for the chance to see Raiders on the big screen. Best marathon ever, I reckon.

I had a chance to see Raiders on the big screen in 2002, when they closed a huge theatre here called Eastgate (ANH showed there in 1977 and TPM was in 6.1 there). I was also moving that weekend and missed it. :( I kick myself for not going anyway.

I dunno, although in all honesty, I couldn't really tell the difference between DLP and 35mm with ROTS.

Also, Indy not going to digital? I'm actually not too surprised.

If you have a group of friends (I Don't know what constitutes a minimum group size), you can order tickets through the official Indiana Jones Website . Its Paramounts group ticket sales office. I can't think of a better movie for your company to take a few hours off from work for some corporate bonding!!! Other than that I guess we'll have to wait. I saw "rumors" of a May 1st individual ticket sales date.

    What did they say?

The only date I've heard (not from Fandango) is May 8th.
