Anybody else watching Misfits?

Despite it being fairly crude (reminding me of Torchwood in that department) I've really started to enjoy this show. Anyone else watching it?

I disliked Nathan in the first episode, but by the end of the first series he had really grown on me. I also like the way they didn't go the cliched route and make Simon the sympathetic misunderstood loner - he is wonderfully flawed and creepy. I have high hopes for the second series, too - the first episode was very entertaining.

 

I watched some of the last series, but to me it seems nothing but a very chavved-up knock-off of Heroes. Most of the characters are very annoying too, but it has some good parts.

 

Richie, that was pretty much the point behind the series. Instead of picture perfect artificial Americans, we get chavs with superpowers. Brilliant concept.

 

It's a good idea, minus the fact that chavs are irritating.

 

I didn't enjoy the last episode at all. Bit of a shark-jump for me, I'm afraid.

 

Yeah, giving it an actual storyline makes it worse somewhat. It's better as just 5 ASBO kids messing around with superpowers.

 

I've been pondering on checking the show out. The summary of "Skins meets Heroes" doesn't exactly endear me to it.

 

It's a bit of an acquired taste.

I enjoyed tonight's episode much more than last week's... my optimism for the series is renewed.
