Do they have different capital ships than the rest of the galaxy?

I think House Mitth'raw'nuruodo has quasi-Imperial designs, but up the point where I am in the NJO we've seen nothing but the clawcraft.

Commander Hess'irolia'nuruodo commanded a Chiss corvette IIRC.

Are you asking about the Chiss themselves, or the Imperial/Chiss 250 sectors in the Unknown Regions?

The Chiss have developed no warship greater than 300 meters in length, according to SW Gamer. And no, sadly, I've got no idea what any of their ships look like or are capable of.

The Imperial/Chiss forces in the Unknown Regions use a mix of Chiss and *gasp* Imperial weaponry. Grand Admiral Thrawn had been covertly having forces siphoned off into the Unknown Regions for some time (with the help of Palpatine), and there is even a fair amount of evidence that could place the still-unaccounted-for Black Sword Command out there. That alone would give the Imperial/Chiss group over fourty star destroyers (nothing smaller than a VSD, and including two SSDs other than the Big Tim). On top of that, there were at least fifty other vessels under Thrawn's command during his hunt for the traitorous Zaarin in the Unknown Regions, and none of those ships (save for one) have been seen since.
