Anybody up for a February Meeting on the weekend 25/26 Feb?

Dare I suggest a location in Ontario Mills? Maybe by the cinema and have a movie trip after the meeting?

Name the date, that sounds like a good location to me, if it doesn't fall on a day that we already have plans, we'll be there!

 

There is a Starbucks outside of the Mills. It may be a quiet spot on a weekend to meet up, depending on how many of us can make it could be a good meeting place before hitting the cinema.

If there are more people we could probably meet in the food court but it tends to get really busy on Sat/Sun and we may not be able to find each other.

Sat or Sun is fine for me, lets tally up the Sat vs Sun and see who can make it and move on from there. I would imagine eventually we'd like to have a regular meeting like every 2 Sat or something like that and rotate the venue, could also follow it with an every 2 wednesday for those that can't make weekend meetings.

Getting closer now. Guess we should stick out our necks out and pick Sat/Sun.

How's about the Starbucks by Ontario Mills. It's the one on the outside not too far from the Edwards Cinema.

With only 2 of us confirmed for Saturday I'm afraid we should cancel and try another week. It's not worth it for just us to get together. I've also got to take my car into the body shop again as they didn't fix it properly.

I propose an online meeting. Sometime in the evening at the beginning of March. Where would be best to do this? I'm trying to think of a place where we dont have to have a whole bunch of people sign up for new accounts with places like excite, yahoo, msn, myspace etc.

Maybe Yahoo or even use a thread in here?

Hopefully some of the other members will get more active as it moves into summer!

thanks...yeah i'm good...it was my uncle, he was in poor health for a few years and i was there at his side when he died....so i can't be angry about it.

 

glad you're o.k....that must have been difficult to be there, but sure it was a blessing for him to be with people that loved him when he passed. I'm sorry for your loss.

How's about an online meeting?

Maybe Thursday 9th March? 6pm?

 

don't want to seem computer illiterate...but, unfortunately I am....how do you have an online meeting?

 

Basically for now, we would all just login to the board here and just do it in here. We could use other places like Yahoo, MSN, ICQ messangers but not everybody has an account with these places and I'm pretty sure everyone already has enough e-mail addresses to last several life times.

Hi,I was waiting to find out for sure about my plans before I responded.. Unfortunately, we won't be available Thursday. We're going to the Grand Slam Sci-Fi convention in Pasadena this weekend and we're going to go on Thursday now instead of Fri. I'm game for trying to do this another day if you guys want. The only day's I'm never available in evening is Monday. Sure would be nice if we can eventually get something going. Thanks for the effort, sorry I couldn't participate this time!!!

 

Darth, could you do Monday evening online in here? May as well pick a time when all three of us are around.

 

no...i work from 6pm - 1am i have thurs/fri/sat off though
