Anyone else getting a lot of "Cannot find Server" errors?

I am. I couldn't get in to the boards for nearly 20 minutes.

Yes, and its really pissing me off as I am trying to do the AC update, which is already late.

 

IGN has been down for a while now. The boards, the site, everything. It seems to be back right now, but extremely slow.

My guess is some sort of connection problems, or server crash.

 

Damn errors! AGHAGHAGHA. Grrr. I'm in bad mood.

Yes, I'm getting this message everytime. But here's something I've discovered. This seems to be working on my computer so maybe it will work on yours. Double click on the board link and it usually works. I.E. To get to communications, I double clicked on it to avoid the cannot find server thread. Hope it works for you.

Yes and the answer from Mod Squad (from Knightwriter) is that it appeared to be a Forum-wide problem, likely IGN issues.

 

Me too. It's been like this for about an hour. It's just now starting to work. I couldn't even get to anywhere where I COULD double click anything.

I had the same problem.Only half the page would load.All the links and adds on the sides were missing.

 

For polls, the colored bars didn't load for me. I just tried TFN, and the same thing is happening.

 

Actually, the problem was the only reason I got on the boards. I was going to come here to the Comm. area to complain, but it had already been done

I figured my computer just got tired of being on the boards, since that's almost the only site it's ever one

BIGGEEE board burp? BIGGEEEEEIER server burp? geez, it's like breaking into Fort Knox to get here, then the pages go limp and don't load. is the board/server that busy? perhaps everyone is online due to the shuttle disaster? ?

 

I am still having problems.. it has been over an hour now. I was finally able to get in to post this.

 

*wants to smack JC/software/computer/whatever-is-responsible*

 

Ironically, I am not noticing any difference. (I'm on dialup, so it's a bit slow anyway.)

I got the same thing here. But it's not just TF.net it's also IGN.
