Yes, but you get to speculate about Episode VII for the next three years while TCW produces the equivalent of 4 movies (timewise) every year. TCW will likely wrap up before Episode VII anyhow from some of the things Filoni has hinted at.

I think it's safe to say that - unless ratings go really bad - they not going to stop showing this until Ep VII. They want to keep kiddies hooked :)

I hope not! I'd rather see something to fill the gap between VI and VII.

It's the show that never ends... it will go on and on my friends....

The young jedi ones weren't too bad. No continuity damage.

Does that mean that the younglings arc can be compared to the introduction of Elmo and the subsequent gearing of the show towards preschoolers?

WAC-47 is the introduction of Disney-Star War's "Elmo".

Due to the staggering rise in childhood alcoholism, Obi-Wan will be forced to scale back his voracious thirst for alcohol, teaching kids about the wonder of water, muja juice and blue milk.

JAT should totally cover the song that never ends.

Absolutely LOVE the Clones Wars. Would like to see the show run up to the release of Ep VII, then end. Future animated or live action shows should then move on to other time periods.

To be honest, I'm sick of the Clone Wars. I'd much rather see a show exploring the era between ROTS and ANH, or during the OT.

    I'm not bailing.

Let's get a grip here - a few disappointing episodes is no reason to hit the eject button.

That said, TCW is soon going to start facing the MASH Conundrum - serving 11 years in a three year war.

I wouldn't mind seeing TCW end if there was a new series to replace it. One that bridged the gap between Episode VI and VII would be a fine idea. One set in the KOTOR era would be pretty boss, as well.

I don't think the live-action series is impossible.

I'd like to see TCW continue AND see something set between the two movie trilogies.

This x100.. No wait, x1000. I'd like to see TCW follow their OC's into the Dark Times at some point as well.

I still suspect TCW will ultimately get rebranded and keep going into the dark times. It just makes since and I know I'd watch it.

What they could do is once TCW has shown everything between AOTC and ROTS, skip to the time after ROTS, but not starting a whole new animated series, just rename it. So if TCW finished at season 6 for example, the time era after ROTS would start at season 7. Idk, just an idea.
The only problem with that is, renaming it and having a new title starting at season 7 could be confusing.

I'm all for that idea. I say skip ROTS unless we go somewhere during that time away from the movies and then keep on chugging. I thing a Star Wars: The Dark Times would pick up steam from TCW. I know 0 about that time line which would make it super interesting. I wonder what characters could carry over?

I think Ahsoka Tano would be in it if she survives TCW, which would bring elements from TCW that we know into the new series to show how they're linked together. Shaak Ti could also be in it, and the other remaining Jedi.
