Actually they recently acknowledged he was in the right. Back then, Wells Fargo stole money from him in some shady deal. So my great-grandfather robbed their stagecoaches until he took what they owed him. He never hurt anyone or stole from any passengers on the coach and always left them a nice piece of poetry.

 

That's nice. History hasn't been so kind to my uncles. Of course, they were a little trigger happy.
