*** Anyone free in Manchester tomorrow (apologies for lateness)

Sorry for being so late in getting this up, lots going on.

I am meeting our new member Maggy in Manchester so she can see a few places there, and anyone who is free is welcome to join us

Probably go to Forbidden Planet, a few other shops (there is a comic shop in Afflecks Palace I need to go see the owner of - Moonwalk Collectables), and then we are getting the metrolink to Harbour City, Maggy wants to see the Imperial War Museum. We'll come back to city centre to meet Caroline (Go-Away) and a few others and get some food. Then I think I'll mostly likely be escorted to the train station just so they are sure I am gone lol

To get to Habour City from Piccadilly Gardens via metro - take the Eccles sevice and Habour City is on that line. A return ticket costs £1.90 after 9:30am

Anyone who can meet up is free to do so (apologies for the short notice), but it was just me showing Maggy round, thought I'd let others join in. It will be a mini official meet in evening when we meet up with Caroline for tea. If you need my mobile if you want to meet up at any point, I can PM it. Or if you have a lunch hour and just want to say hi, we can try and fit that in too, just PM or post the details

Cool About 11am, we'll be heading up from Oxford Road to Piccadilly via tourist info (quiet everyone!) onto FP and that shop in Afflecks Palace I mentioned. I am not sure if I have your moby no. on my phone, I'll PM you mine and depends where u can meet us and how long you have, could wander up to FP if you wanted with us? It'll be Maggy and me at that point. 12pm will fit in nicely.

We'll go for Harbour City after that, via Piccadilly Gardens I guess.

 

I work just off Deansgate and I'm a good 20 mins away from Forbidden Planet but I should be able to sneak out early if I get in early enough

 

I need to show her where Waterstones (the big one and the smaller one) is anyways! No problem, we can meet you near there (either one is fine), and we don't have to go to FP. You want to get some lunch instead? Any recommendations?

 

I know a really nice greek deli near the Big Waterstones, its called Katsouris and you can get Vegetarian food and meat filled monster butties if you want (along with some really nice puds).


After that it's all you can eat Pizza hut buffet

So, how did it go kids? Did a big brawl go down between Terry and Tim? I know Terry's got the height advantage but Tim's taken a lot of stick, so he's learned to absorb the punches and use them against his opponent in battle fury

 

Hmm, if we're kids, that makes you a tadpole Forgive me, it's early in the morning and I've not had coffee yet


Went okay apparently, although I did miss the vital 10 minutes of Terry/Tim meeting. All I can say, is that Tim looked completely unbruised and blood free when we met up in the evening.

 

And so did Terry lol. Good to meet him too, we didn't get much time as he had to get back to work, but had time to chat. He's a decent bloke, so you didn't to worry about me Hunky, but nice to know you were concerned

I'll get some pics up of Salford Quays where Maggy and I went afterwards, nice place (Imperial War Museum is kinda funky), possibly worth a visit for Manchester lot if the Lowry has something on.

 

I'm booking the boxing ring for next time.

Why not make this a big event, WWE style "Royal Rumble" but in our case the "RSA Rumble". I am sure there are a few contenders out there who'd like a swing at the owner of the title lol.

I need to go practice my Northern Beserker powerup. Bit dusty, I am letting the side down.

 

I might enter this contest - not normally a physical person, but this could be fun

I won't reveal my secret weapon, but let's just says "pull my finger"

 

Maybe it'll be best just to let the lady win LOL! Not sure that special power is one I'd want to face.

If I were to get into a "brawl" with Timbo it would be a completely unfair contest.
