I live in Parma, and I was wondering if anyone from the Cleveland area is going to Celebration II?

    Cleveland?
    North Olmsted?
    Mentor?
    Garfield?
    Strongsville?

If there are any Browns fans out there...bark or something just don't throw a bottle ;)

I don't have a map in front of me, and I failed Ohio Geography, but these cities have Fan Force Forums...maybe you'll find some fellow bottle throwers, I mean, Browns' fans there. j/k ;)

    [link=http://boards.theforce.net/board.asp?brd=10155]Columbus, OH[/link]
    [link=http://boards.theforce.net/board.asp?brd=10174]Toledo, OH[/link]
and on the other side of the state you'll find [link=http://boards.theforce.net/board.asp?brd=10153]The 'Nati[/link]

I couldn't find a local Fan Force Forum for Cleveland (Columbus is the closest) Thanks to the moderators for not locking this topic, I'm kinda of using it as a homing beacon for other Cleveland SW fans who are going to CII.

    I'm going! :)

I live in Wadsworth, and my mom and I are going.

There was a forum for Akron and Cleveland, but they were taken off. :(

I just got my tickets this morning. :)

EDIT: And as for being a Browns fan... I hate football, I like baseball more. :D

I am so an Indians fan! :)

Good to hear someone I know is going to be at Celebration II JarJar Jedi. I read in the new issue of "SW Insider" that there is a message board for fan club members to leaves notes for each other. Maybe we can meet at C II :)

Hope to see all you guys at Celebration II! And especially you Padawan92, since you're my sister/padawan and everything :) We'll be there early Friday, and probably leave sometime Sunday before it's over. If you see a guy with a orange "X-Wing squadron" baseball cap..it's probably me. Padawan92 will be the kid next to me, come say hello.

Wow, Ohio is in true force at Celebration II.

I, along with Grn and a few others from TBX will be there. I live in N. Ridgeville (work in Strongsville) and Grn is in N. Royalton.

Garfield Hts.....Jerrin from our film lives there.

We'll most likely be in our TBX shirts so keep an eye out for us as well.

OK...that'll be like looking for a needle in a stack of needles :)

I checked out the website for TBX, looks like alot of fun. I'll keep an eye out for you guys.

Would it help if I said my t-shirt would most likely have Darth Maul or Luke Skywalker on it? [face_mischief]

Actually I was thinking why doesn't everybody here meet for lunch at Parmatown one day before the show?

I never been to Parmatown... And besides, my mom wouldn't let me go there, I don't think that she wants to go there alone...

I have no clue on where it is!

What about Strongsville mall? ?[face_plain] ?[face_plain]

Uhh.. Parmatown isn't that bad of a mall. ;) You're probably thinking of Randall Park Mall.

Either way, I live about 5 minutes from Parmatown or South Park Mall (Strongsville). I'd be interested in meeting others in the area.

I dunno, all I know is that I haven't been to either of those, and if I have, it was a long time ago.

Heh, I've only been to Summit Mall (that one isn't bad), Rolling Acres (I don't think I would go there alone), Chapel Hill, and Belden Village. I was at South Park Mall when it opened a long time ago.

If Parmatown Mall isn't as bad as I thought, I guess it will be okay.

I personally would still like South Park Mall... at least I know where it is! ;)

I can understand where your mom would be apprehensive about going to Parmatown Mall alone, after that lady got kidnapped in the parking lot. That was a couple years ago, and trust me security has been improved since then. Sad thing is, things have changed so much in the last couple years, 10 years ago I used to go to ANY mall by myself no problems, now I make sure someone is with my sister at all times. Wasn't always like that, and not just because of what happened at P-town.

South Park (Strongsville) is another good option for getting together, sounds like a good idea. JarJarJedi, easy way to get to P-town from SP is simply take RT 82 east, until Ridge Road, turn left and keep going until you see a mall.

GrnJalera, where are you at that's so close to P-town? I'm on Maplecrest off W.54th. (didn't realize you were so close.) Meeting up sounds like fun, Private Message me sometime before CII and we'll arrange something. JarJarJedi, you're welcome as well (heck, bring your mom as well)

I'm very close to Rt 82 and W 130th. I can practically see South Park mall from my home. ;)

Drop me an email if you want (in my profile). That goes for anyone in the Cleveland area wanting to get together.

I was going to bring my mom anyways, seeing that she is also coming to the Celebration. ;)

Okay, I'll PM (or e-mail, whichever you want) you guys to see when we can get together. (And where. ;))

We should PM the others in that posted here that are in the area to see if they can come too.

My whole family is going to Indy, but it's just Emily and I who are going to Celebration II. We just got our hotel reservations, a little farther from the Convention Center then I would have liked, but downtown is booked solid. While we're at Celebration II, our parents will be looking for a casino nearby.

There is an off track betting parlor less than a mile from the convention center. Don't know about any casinos.

Hi all, just a bit of info here, no casino's in Indiana, there are some on the Kentucky-Indiana border (2.5 hours) and in northern Indiana just short of Chicago (2.5 hours). The off-track betting facitily is actually only 3 blocks from the convention center and is connected by skywalks.

    Hope this helps.
