Going up the 6th. THX will be there again, and rumor has it that the new XBOX will be premiered there. Hoping that the new Star Wars Casino slot machines would be out at the casinos, but i dont know.

I will be there as well. January 6th to the 9th. This will be 20 years in a row for me! One of my annual weekends of debauchery for me and some of my buddies...

I got my pass for CES a couple of months ago and have been getting the magazines and emails and everything. Looks like a pretty good show this year. I'm not sure I'm going or not at this point though because I was supposed to go with a friend of mine, and they are no longer going... not sure I want to go alone or not. Vegas is the kind of place where its more fun to be with friends.

Edit: Johnny, why are you posting with your sock?

I'll be attending CES on Saturday. It'll be my first time there. I'm looking forward to geeking-out over all the latest consumer electronics, including digital cameras, HD theatre systems, wireless technology, gaming platforms and more. Should be fun!

Well I didn't go.. didn't want to go alone. So far all I've heard was about NVIDIA's new video card, and a 102" flatpanel widescreen HD tv. What else cool was there? I want to go NEXT year for sure!

It was good. LG (also known as Zenith) has a rear view that played in 3-d. i think HD too. Screen didnt have an overlay and they did gave you cardboard glasses, not the blue/red, but gray lenses. It was neat. Also they had HD-DVD, and had a reel from movies like Sky Captain and I-Robot, which looked amazing. Nothing too exciting at the THX booth.
