Ag, a Richmond supporter...I went to Melbourne vs Richmond a few weeks ago...needless to say, as a Melbourne supporter I was not a "happy camper." Bloody Richardson though, his goal on Friday night was brilliant (YOU know the one i mean...).

Cool, nice to see we all enjoy our footy. Wow, Collingwood last night, that was an upset to say the least. I didn't get to see it all (Playing Basketball) but it seemed like a cracker of a game. Actually i tipped collingwood to win, don't know why, but Port were hot favorites. Anyway, as long as the Vic teams keep winning i'll be happy. Liafir, u live in FH? Do u still go to school? I'm currently going to GSSC. What sports do you play?

Look, to be fair I've been a frenzied Bombers fan all my life, and in the interests of our ensuing victory next week I was going into the match with Port at my heart...but despite my Victorian HATE for the Pies, I couldn't help but barrack for the locals.

If Essendon make the Grandfinal it would be a national tragedy. They have had a lack lusture season, a sooky Hird and have put the great game to shame. The same for any team not in Vic.

On the Today Show the other day they said that most victorian's would rather a team from another state won the grandfinal instead of the pies.
I've never met anyone who thinks that, what about you?

 

I think any Melbournians who do follow football and don't want to support Collingwood (most of the state) have gone to ground until next season... It's the only intelligent move to make this finals season.

 

The only intelligent move here is to back the mighty black and white. You all owe us so much. We have been the backbone of football for a long time and have gernerated all the other teams a lot of financial gains.
People only fear what they dont understand.
Embrace Collingwood for we are the future.

 

If Collingwood is the future, I choose Rugby Union.

 

If you choose rugby then you waste your support. Be a real Victorian and back the mighty black and white. You all sledge Collingwood but the the facts we are good, we are popular and we are football. Without us a lot of your teams would not be here now.
Without us the AFL would not be as big as it is now!
