Oceania Anyone here watch Stargate SG1?

I am so sad about Daniel! How come he left the show? That new guy is ok, but he's not as good as 'ol Daniel

That smacks to me of Sliders, when the cool original characters were replaced, the death knell was sounded

 

Well at least there will be only one season with a replacement character. Then they want to make another movie (which Shanks says he will do.)

 

Isn't that a great name? "Shanks." Firm.

 

Another movie? Excellent. I really need to watch the first one again, I've almost forgotten what happens except for the fact that they discover some Stargate-type thing.

 

So will the movie end the Stargate saga? no more TV after that??

They managed to bring back Rimmer in Red Dwarf half a dozen times, so you think they could think of something for Stargate

 

Is there a website where I could get information about this new movie?

That's what I love about scifi: There are so many ways that you can justifiably bring back characters!!

No doubt some alien stole his body or something and put it into a sarcophagus blah blah blah...

Due to the fact that SG-1 has delivered the Sci-Fi channel its best prime time ratings EVER, they have just renewed it it for a seventh season.

And for all of you Daniel Jackson fans, he will return as a regular!!

This was only announced a couple of days ago, so not all cast members have announced their intentions to stay yet, but for now, the future of SG-1 is good.

Parker Lewis was a cool show.

The episode that was on last night here in NZ had Jack caught and Daniel came and had a chat!

I taped it and got distracted - so must watch today! But seemed cool for the few mins I saw.

 

One of the best episodes I've seen, SithForceLord. I was truly moved by the banter they tossed around, and the way in which Richard and Michael held up their roles. They delivered their lines with such conviction and impeccable standard -- yes, I'm rambling. I'll stop.

I was impressed by it, though By the way, how cool was it to see O'Neill with a Gou'ald tone?

Stargate SG-1 always gets kicked around by Seven/GWN, infact ALL Sci-Fi in Australia get's kicked aorund quite abit.

I'm looking forward to it, but it won't start until they cease making SG-1 apparently.

Has anybody heard of Stargate: Infinity?

It's the Stargate cartoon that started in the states last year.

 

I've been watching it since the first episode, and I'll watch it until the last.

 

I saw a few episodes of that when I was over in Canada luigi, its not bad at all.

When is SG1 returning to our screens? It annoys me liek hell when our stations cut shows half way through their seasons, like they do with Star Trek, then show the other half months if not years after!

I really hope we get the second half of Season 6 of Stargate SG-1 sometime soon.

It's bad enough we are so far behind with Star Trek Voyager.

 

You are lucky enough to be up to season six. Down here in Melbourne were only a couple of episodes into season 5.

 

I thought all of Australia was up to the same episode.
