Roch, NY anyone here with matrial arts skills?

    anyone here have any martial arts skills?

    particularly weapons such as kendo, machete, kama, bo, or anything of the sort?

    Weapons... bah! Who needs 'em ;)

    I earned a Black Belt in Shorin-Ryu Matsubayashi Okinawan karate about 10 years ago. I've also studied Chito-Ryu, Jodu, and various other styles.

    I still train on my own from time to time, but I miss the structure of a class format... it's just I haven't found anything around here that I'm comfortable with.

    I hope to start my own school someday... or at least teach a self-defense class on a college campus or YMCA.

    just 10 years of ishin-ryu for me, and various other styles to train in.

    nothing major here, I'm just looking for some people who actually can do kumite with me. maybe bone up on my bo and kendo.
