Anyone interested in Nan Desu Kan?

It's the big japanese anime convention in town. I've never gone, because i'm not all that into anime, but a friend of mine runs it and I was going to check it out Saturday for a couple of hours and then go to the meeting.

I know Allison_Breeze is going all weekend, it's a big con for her, she's really into anime.

I figured i'd wear a SW shirt, bring RMFF flyers to put on the flyer table, and take pictures of the costumes for the gallery.

Anyone interested in coming along?

 

It's this weekend, at the same hotel StarCon is at, Holiday Inn DIA (Starcon's moving next year). Ticket is $22.50.

Errr... I'm not *that* really big into anime. I mean, no more than Star Wars... no, wait, that didn't help my case...

Seriously though, if you're interested in anime at all, NDK is fun. They have video rooms, video game rooms, an art show, a dealer's room, music concerts, lots of people in very bizarre costumes, and plenty of other stuff.

The funniest thing I have ever seen is a picture of an overwieght middle aged balding japanese buisnessman dressed as Sailor Moon. Actually it was beyond funny it was sickening.
