We are trying to get a star wars rpg going... is anyone interested?

Card games are for those with short attention spans.

we mean the Role Playing Game. Pencil and Paper, Dice Rolling. Tabletop games.

Hours and hours of prep work and slow game playing.

RPG games like Dungeons & Dragons, G.U.R.P.S., W.O.D. or D20 Modern or D20 Star Wars.

you learn how to play the game while preparing.

you roll dice and create your character, you learn the basic gameplay mechanics and you go through a basic module to learn.

This is not L.A.R.P.ING or Live Action Role Playing.

we have the books for D20 Star Wars and W.O.D. (World of Darkness is like playing through a horror or sci-fi movie, based on the D10 rules of Vampire the Masquerade)

D20 Star Wars is a lot of fun when you get a good group together.

it requires about 5 hours, 1 day a month, or more if everyone likes it.

In the Fort Lauderdale fanforce, we played a D20 Star Wars game.

there were all sorts of characters involved and we had about 6 regular players.

it is basically the same rules as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Bioware (the developer) used the D20 rules to create kotor

I am very interested......but im not so sure i understand how to play it. Maybe you can explain this a little more to me. i would like to play very much though
