You don't have tickets yet? Aren't you worried they'll be sold out? Because AMC put theirs on sale Thursday, the news said, but I got mine for Barrywoods 24 (digital projector) on Wednesday evening online. Hmm..

NO theatres in KC have digial projectors any more, according to my sources. And, I walked up to the box office for TPM at 10:30 opening night and got two tickets to one of the 4 big theatres at BarryWoods. Anyone who wants into the midnight show will get a ticket. I'm starting to think that AMC and other chains put them on sale so early just to get people to get worried and buy them early, trying to make them think they're gonna sell faster than either of the last two movies.

My advice is to just wait for an announcement from HOTA about an event for us. On the slim chance it doesn't happen, there'll still be tickets at the multiplex in your area. Check out the HOTA forums for more info...

 

At this point I have talked to two GM's at two different theatre's and they have both said there is no possible way they will sell out. Didn't for AOTC and didn't for TPM.

Also I would like to know where you got the information that Barrywoods has a digitial projector? If they have one we might have to change our plans. But from my research the closest one is in Wichita. TF.n also confirms that here: http://www.theforce.net/episode3/theaters/digital_m.asp

I don't suppose just calling up the Barrywoods to ask if they have a digital projector will help, would it? Just a thought.

 

I ended up grabbing my tix at IC20....I didnt see them on the website the first couple times cause it was listed as the 18th

 

I got my tickets for Barrywoods yesteday. Can you guys tell me anything I should know, like what time I should get there?

 

Honestly, I think that you should have waited and see if you can come to the midnight showing that the HOTA is doing at the Pazallo 16. Since it is going to be a join effort with the local 501st and the local Rebel Legion (Me and Luke so far to my knowledge) and those of FanForce. Luke has all the info and the link Gandalf posted has info also. That is your best possible idea and all the information is there and more will be coming this week after Luke talks to the manager. I know the new movie theater in St. Joseph (north of KC approx. 45 min) is having a midnight showing....but that might be a wee bit too far.
