where one could acquire a Force FX lightsaber collectible here in the Sacramento area? I haven't been able to check out any local hobbie shops or toy stores (as of yet), so what's my best bet?

In Old Sacramento? No, I haven't, actually. Maybe I should give 'em a call and ask (I'll probably be disappointed, but....).

    Thanks, man!

I THINK A-1 Comics in Roseville might have one.

Excellent, guys. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this; now, if only there were a cure for this insomnia I'm suffering from at the moment (hence the awkward times of my posts).

Thanks again, guys, I'll give it a try after grad school today!

ahh..grad school...I'll be there in a year or so.

    For insomnia:
Put on a good movie (not too many explosions) that you are VERY familiar with (i.e. SW: ANH), set the volume to a slightly lower-than-normal level. Close all blinds, doors, etc. Pick a comfy spot (i.e. couch, bed, floor) and relax! :D Works every time for me.

Tried it, friend, and I must say-- you were right! It worked like a charm; perhaps even moreso because the Andy Milonakis Show was on the television at the time.

Still, I thank you for the sound advice...you've saved me. I think.

Well, today I finally tracked down and purchased one of these bad boys (Anakin model), and I must say that while I'm duly impressed, I was somewhat disappointed.

To think I actually thought it was an actual lightsaber. Talk about idiotic.

    Excellent collectible, however.
