Just wondering if anyone in DFW has had the chance to DL the soundtrack. I've tried but haven't had any luck.

    God, it's a brilliant soundtrack!!!

Across the Stars is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard.

Very nice. I heard hints of The Last Crusade in several places.

Only problem I have is with the total amount of music...approx 77 min. What's up with that? The original TPM soundtrack was short enough, now this one is barely over an hour long. Just another marketing ploy in order to come out with a "extended edition".

That and given the fact that Lucas is still tweaking the film...gotta get those musical cues in the right spots time-wise.

I got a copy from my friend GrandMoff_Joker, and I must say that some of the themes that are introduced are some of the best Williams has done. The "Across the Stars" theme sets such a feeling of dreadful anticipation, it makes you wax poetically a la Romeo and Juliet. Simply Amazing.

Dude, that's what they do with movie soundtracks. And they crammed as much music as they possibly could onto one disc.

And I'm still waiting for the definitive Episode I score, considering that 'ultimate' edition didn't have even close to everything.

I just got a few of them off of Kazaa.
    WOW

Yeah, it's gonna be an interesting Oscars next year. AotC and Two Towers facing off in multiple categories, and score will be among them! Williams did a great job on this one. LOVE the theme from the end combat.
