Sorry, y'all, internet went belly up... :(

Star Wars for sure! Listen to this character I generated for Episode II era gaming:
[Working off assumption he's level 7 and an independent Knight]
    (Level 7 Jedi Consular)

    10 -Str (0)
    13 -Int (+1)
    17 -Cha (+3)
    17 -Dex (+3)
    11 - Wis (0)
    18 - Con (+4)

And they were legit roles!!! Dice love me. My paladin in D&D3e [Forgotten Realms to be exact] has 16 Dex, Con and Cha, 13 Str, 12 Wis and 11 Int!!! Plus, at level 5, 60HP!!!! DICE LOVE MEEEEEE!!!!! :)

Sorry. Yeah, well, we could vote for a game and try and meet up when we decide who what where and when [and heck, why not even why? ;) ). So,
    a) Who's in,
    b) in for what,
    c) where etc etc...

Not a bad roll there at all.

I once rolled up an Elven Bladesinger (AD&D) with no score under 15 (I think), and that was before racial modifiers, etc. I think it was about a 96.

Anyway, I'm in for whatever if I can make it.

btw, where did you get your SW source books?

My favorite place is The Tin Soldier, behind QVB, in the City. They have awesome minis and sourcebooks. Well, that's one for SW, and I'm VEEERRRRRRY pro SW at the moment!

If you need details on shops for books PM me dude!

So, are we seriously going to try to organise something to get together for a game of SW RPG ???

It's been hundreds of years since I have played and I have all but forgotten the rules, but they'll come back to me as I play.....

I haven't played for over 2 years, although i kinda remember weg rules, i haven't a clue about d20 rules for starwars, my mind is taken up by shadowrun rules for creating spells right now

That and i sold my rulebook to a friend

Well, hell yeah, why don't we. I've played both systems and honestly, I prefer d20. It just feels right to me for SW. It's also a lot easier to notice character advancement. Levelling up is soooo much better than getting 5CP at the end of a mission!!!

So, Syrix is in, I'm in - Keith, Tekno, whaddya say? I can probably organize a place to play that's central to most, but if you two are in, we should be cool. Come on!!! :)

Anyone know where we can get adventure modules for the d20 online?

I've seen some around for AD&D, but not for SW.

    Try wizards.com/starwars

If you search around, there should be some downloadable adventures in .pdf format. Otherwise, go see my old mate Armage Bedar @

    Okay, Ender, I'm in.

I've got the d20 Sourcebook, will probably get the Rebellion era SB. D6 is cool, but you've got to see d20. Esp if you've got some newish, unfinished d6 characters - like my 3 adventure Brash Pilot - converting across can be slow but at least you don't lose your favs! I prefer d20, in the end - easier to become jedi, easier to roll combat without 1,200,000 dice!!!! :D

    d20 system is very easy.

most rolls won't require much more than one die.

Okay....d6, d20 - whatever. I have no rule books, so I am at the mercy of whoever runs the game anyway!!

Is anyone seriously going to play, though ?? Come on - hands up !!

well, considering that I've never played a game of SWRPG, I suppose I'd be willing to give it a shot :)

Unless someone who is better suited for the job pipes up, I guess I'll do it. As long as you don't mind me modifying the rules a little (if I have to).

I, too can run the game if no one else will. But, I really don't the rules at all and that usually makes for very slow game play.

Is anyone else interested or is that it?

What about you, Ender ?? Would you run the game ???

    damndamndamn!

I wish I had some TIME! I'd love to GM and have oodles of experience at it, but it's hard enough finding time for my Splinter Sith campaign as it is :(

But KV, aren't you in Newcastle ??

If I'm wrong, why don't you make some time. We don't have to play too regularly. I have problems finding time also !!
