ST Anyone planning on avoiding spoilers going forward or in the near future?

i dont know how im going to do it but i am going to completely avoid the entire internet in the two months leading up to release day. i see even one remotely negative review it will ruin my entire experience. i want to go in not knowing what to expect in terms of film quality

 

The actors are said to like the script very much. Which is a good sign.

 

Anthony Daniels comes to mind.

I wish someone would. Like any version of the script.

(As in release it.)


As for this:

Doesn't mean a thing. Actors are concerned with what the script does for them. The actual movie is secondary to them because they have no control over it.

"Terrible" scripts can make "great" movies and vice versa.

 

Um what? How do you jump from like it to release it?

Your original post didn't have a period after would.

Not seeing the jump in logic from like it to release it. How were we supposed to know that?

 

I just stay away entirely from WD spoilers now. People always know who is going to die.

Five days since I started this thread and so far so good in terms of not checking out any spoilers or rumors since. I have a link established to this thread so I can come back and see what people are discussing regarding this particular topic. But other than that I haven't visited the rest of the Spoilers Allowed forums or MSW. Gets easier the longer you do it.

 

I think I'm out. I asked a friend (who usually doesn't mind big spoilers) to take a look at MSW and see what everybody is talking about this afternoon. He said he kinds whished he hadn't read it.

I wish they would start releasing some production photos etc. officially, because that kind of stuff is fun. The huge spoilers I'd rather avoid.

 

Yes, it is a very big spoiler if it is true. It is a description of a pivotal sequence in which quite a lot happens to one character in particular. (We still don't know all the details or what is motivating any of the characters or anything at all to really give us any context for why this scene takes place though.)

I enjoy all the spoilers but I can understand the sentiment of those who don't want to know until they see the finished film. If you are bowing out now, take care and maybe see you around this board sometime in December.

 

I expect myself to head over to 7NSA for full time at some point before E7 is released, but dang it 7SA is just too much fun!

 

I thinking about quitting spoiler-reading cold turkey, especially after reading the most recent doozy at MakingStarWars.

I'd been reading the various rumors and spoilers long before I joined the forum. And I didn't just join the forum to read spoilers.

 

I've been reading 7SA for the past few years and I don't feel very spoiled. I don't think anyone has a clue what's going on with Episode VII other than a basic plot setup.

 

Planning on avoiding spoilers is the operative word.

Yes, I plan on it. Yet I expect that plan to be discarded with each spoiler reveal.

 

I just chickened out on the latest MSW rumor. I read the article title and the lead-in, but couldn't do it. You only get one chance to experience a film for the first time. After this I may have to take a break from the forums for a while, maybe even to December.

But I'm conflicted about it, so I may return to 7SA before then.

 

it would be sad to not see you for a while.
