Anyone Remember BullFrog's Syndicate Wars?

I played the original Syndicate game and it was badass, but I never got Syndicate Wars.

I want that trailer music. I've wanted it since '96!

 

I also played the original. Tiny black ninja type dudes in isometric 3D, right?

Syndicate Wars was awesome. Being able to level the entire map was the most fun ever.

Oh yeah, and it had Christchurch as a playable level, that automatically makes it the best game ever.

 

Syndicate wars was brilliant. I really really loved this game. I don't think I finished it though.

Favourite weapon - Satellite Rain

pooslice was the cheat for money & research.

The joy of getting a minigun on the second/third level and wasting the terrorist people was great. Even when it shot your stamina to hell

 

Yep, levelling Christchurch to the ground = greatest thing ever.

 

I do remember it and I'm sure it's still floating around on some long-forgotten burned CD somewhere in my room.
Never got very far, though... Weren't the graphics pretty much spectacular back then? I think I thought so...

 

If you could run it at a high resolution (by late 90s standards) it did look pretty good.

The Playstation version looked pretty bad though.

 

i only played syndicate.
it was pretty righteous.
really, it was the only game i had for the macintosh performa 575 that ever got any serious play time.
that game totally ruled after you got lvl. 3 body mods and mini guns.
nothin' mini about 'em.
