I saw A.I. at 3:30 on Friday afternoon at Edwards.
I thought it was a great film. But I've seen so many varied opinions. You can either say it was a good film that left itself open to interpretation, or you can say that it was a bad movie because it didn't have meaning.
I'm going with the former. The film is all about love and life. It's about David realizing that people will die and love will eventually end. And he realizes this at the end of the film, and he's content with this. So he lies down with his "mother" and goes to "the place were dreams come from." He dies, loving his mother; and his mother loving him.
i thought it was a cool movie... i dont wanna spoil anyone about the parts i didnt like.
Whoops, I forgot to put up a spoiler warning. SORRY to anyone who read this and hadn't seen it!
