Anyone taking a "Sith" day from work or school?

I had already asked for the day off last year. Not stopping my boss(es) from trying to pile on work, though.

 

I've got Thursday and Friday booked off work. Too many people at work know what I'm like for me to play the nick It's kinda high-profile in the media at the minute. I even know some 'civilians' who are getting quite excited about it!

I have the next 3 days off. I asked for those the day the release date was annonced.

 

I'm taking a "Sith" day on Thursday. I'm sleeping in, then going to the MN Twins vs Toronto Blue Jays game at 12:10pm. Then I'm seeing the movie again on Friday night.

 

I don't have any problem with this because I'm not scheduled to work the rest of the week, sans a call in on Saturday. I can go see it as much as I want to this weekend.

After this weekend, I don't know. I've got a job interview on Monday before I go to work so subsequent viewings might be curbed after that.

I know with AOTC, my mom put in the fact she was going to go see AOTC with me. hee hee! My mom rules.

I've booked off Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Monday and Tuesday from next week off work.

 

Oh yeah. I won't be in for work Thursday until after lunch. I have planned a minimum half day since the release date was announced. I may not go in to the office at all depending on my reaction.

 

I am off tommorrow for U2 and off Thursday for 3 showings of ROTS!

 

I just graduated and have a bunch of time off, but one of my friends who is a radiology resident is going to skip out early on thursday to see a matinee!

Well, I couldnt get tickets nutil 8:00pm so I dont have to.

I don't need to take a day off because I'll be done with work by the time I go to the theater.

 

I had Monday off, and have today through Friday off for Star Wars. Orignially I was going to be camping on Monday night until the midnight showing for RotS. But the theater I'm going to is considered to be apart of the mall and mall security won't let anyone camp out. So it's been rather nice not working yesterday or today.

 

Since I don't work or study right now, I can spend how much time I want on SW. And that is time spent wisely.

 

I asked for tomorrow and Thursday off originally, and then got scheduled for all week off. I don't work again until Saturday morning. So I can go movie crazy for 2 days.

 

i've taken the thursday off everytime.....

 

Hell yeah!! Thursday will be sleep day.

 

I would, but I can't.

It is senior Honors Night the evening of the 19th. All students involved must attend school that day or they can't participate.

I'll be a very tired person all Thursday.
Two of my teachers won't be showing up.

Realistically I can't really take off Thursday so I can sleep in, but I did manage to convince my math teacher to excuse some assignments that were due that day so I wouldn't have to kill myself the night of the premier to get it all in.

Of course I told her that I was so stressed out over finals and the rest of my school work (Star Wars was never mentioned)... or else I doubt she would've done it.

 

Even though my CRAZY History teacher is assigning a project on thursday, I am still taking this one day off to see the greatest movie ever. I am still a responsible student though, as I asked for the work in advance O-o..
