I've been practising out the back with a mate ... much to my neighbours bemusement!!

 

Don't do what? Duel with Evil? I don't plan to...

 

*LOL* just start slow, and build it up!! I'm sure there will be plenty of real time discussion at the end of the month, plus there's plenty of time! No worries!

 

Think of it this way.
You learn to doge & block a lot quicker after copping a couple of swift whacks with a plastic saber or broom handle.... trust me.

I do a kata like exercise with a saber. Very good training & saber technique.
Would teach you basic blocks & strikes & let you practise for weeks before a play fight.

 

Actually, I've been wanting to do something kata like with my lightsaber (when I have it).... seriously. I though it would help me get the feel of it.

 

Get the EP.2 Visual Dictionary which shows the basic fight styles taught by the combat masters.
Use them & adapt a style that follow a logical step of strokes to minimise swing.
Its all follow thru.

I think I've seen it in dymocks and Borders. If you go into Borders, to the information counter, you can ask them if they have it or they can get it in... A friend of mine works there

 

Any chance you could send me the script? I've been writing various scripts and reading script books since the start of this year so have a good idea on whats hot and whats not... ok... soz about that, but you get the point

Hehe, yes, I had a busy week last week as I (and 2 mates) were DJing the year 10 dance, as well as getting pressies and stuff for friends b'days, as well as soccer trials for A-Team so yeah... a lot on

Can't wait to read it.
Also, will there be any special effects (ships going to planets type stuff) as I've been messing around with that lately and would like an excuse to do more

 

Unsure about SFX. To get a definitive answer on that, it's best to attend a SAFF get together where the script and all related things is bound to come up.

 

Ohk, well correct me if I'm wrong, but there's one on May 1st aye? If so I might be able to make it, depends on which day school starts again (if its the Tuesday then I can probably come).
