thats a good Question,maybe we should spread out and cover as much of jacksonville as possible. but then again thats just a thought. where else could we go i know you said best buy but thats not always where alot of people are. we need to get everyone together and have a vote. all in favor of voteing,say i, all oppose say no.

 

I think Luis is already working on something with Best Buy on Southside - he was at the DVD release there last year and they want our group to come.

Also Brian was telling me about a place over in OP near 295 that was interested in having us because they were doing a midnight event possibly.

We have a couple of options out there.

 

I think is going to be about how bad people want us there, Yes Brian gave me a contact for 1 store and I'm waiting if anybody calls me back. Just be patience is going to be fun I promise.

 

I concur...let's go to the highest bidder for charity.

Sounds good, either way my hubby and I are available for the midnight whatever the hoopla and the next day hoopla.

 

Wherever it is, we could get a press release out, or inform the local news media about it. It wouldn't be hard and then more people might show up

 

I can't swing the midnight thing, (costume party) but I can do any time in the day

 

if its on a Friday or Saturday,count me in!!!

 

Sorry, but chances are I won't be able to make this....I take classes at night M-Thr....I know release is on a Tues., but if you do anything the weekend before or after I can do it...

So I was wondering - since now we are tentatively slated for a midnight event on Halloween - I don't know how many people will be able to attend, especially since so many of us live so far away.

My proposal would be a 7:00 pm on Nov 1 at the same location - can we look into that? I think we would have a much better turnout for that.

 

sadly I'll be flying out of town on Nov 1

 

We are still Ok for a Midnight thingy ma do. We can do Nov 1st too. Halloween is our Anniversay so we plan for Chase to take the 1st off.

 

ok, this is my two cents. The current event is set up for Oct 31 I don't have a start time but I will find out today, Is going to be at MOVIESTOP @ Blanding blvd is the one right across from Argyle. Now I know is Tuesday night and really do not expect a lot of heads to this event but we can also try to do one for the following saturday (Nov 5). just let me know or if anybody else wants to head this one up, go right ahead. I will call all my contacts and see what can I find out.

 

um you're forgetting the most important lil dude in a brown cloak thats got light up eyes and runs from stormtroopers.if it ends up being at twelve i cant come.cmon if im 'sick' whos going to take me somewhere at midnight???im going with leia! 7 is good with me.and cmon whos going to come at twelve on a work night to go get a DVD!i mean i respect the DVD and all that but i would rather pick it up after work the next day.so id say 7pm-Nov. 1st.maybe one,two hours?

 

I'll wait to make my decision until we hear about times they want us there.
