    Sorry if this has already been posted, but the official theatrical release dates for AOTC and ROTS in 3D was recently announced by Lucasfilm: September and October 2013.

    ROTJ will be released somewhere early 2015 (I assume), a perfect lead in to the sequels.

    I'd imagine we'll see the OT no later than Decemberish. That's actually not a half-bad time to release ANH. People'd love to take their kiddos for that over an Xmas vacation, I'd imagine.

    September should be fun. Not worried about October as I won't spend $22 to see 45 minutes of a movie.

    But Geonosis in 3D should be good, as should the scene in which Obi-Wan first sees the clones. I think Anakin riding the speeder bike towards the Tusken camp will be good in 3D as well.

    They better put these on Blu-Ray. I would buy a 3D TV if I could watch Star Wars in 3D on it.

    With the release dates between the two being so close, do you think it's possible that for a short window of time they will both be at the theaters at the same time? That would be awesome to get to see 2 Star Wars movies in theaters back to back!!! How long did TPM in 3D run for?

    Can't wait to see the battle over coruscant in 3d. Just those first 5 minutes will be worth the 20-30 bucks. ;)
