It also screens Friday December 20, 2002 for those who can't wait as well as Friday Jan 3, 2003. Gates open at 18:00 (6 p.m.) and the movie screens at 20:00 (8 p.m.)

 

Hmm, I wonder if there'll be a meet to see AOTC like there was for TPM a couple of years ago... I remember when it rained during the podrace scene (how ironic) and half the audience got up and left. You could tell who the real SW fans were. Then there was that kid who dressed up as Darth Maul...

Thanks for putting the dates that AOTC would be screening. I'd been meaning to get on that website to check, but kept forgetting (but what's new?!). I can't make it to the Dec one - cricket (again, what's new?!). Might got to the one in Jan, but defenetly the one in Feb. I'm on hols that week.

 

I figured December would be pretty nuts for everyone. I'm thinking of the Jan screening myself... work will be quiet with most places being closed til the 3rd anyway, so that will be the best chance I get to go, considering they're all friday nights.

Definately. Especially since Soulkrusher and Stinkyjawa were too slack to make it the last time we did it.
Someone else can organise this one though.

Or if you're watching the scenes on Tatooine while Perth is experiencing a 45 C heat wave. Or if you started getting attacked by insects when it's Geonosis. A lot of things can happen outdoors.

 

hehe if the TPM screening is anything to go by, the Kamino downpour scenes will probably have the sun coming out and rainbows in Perth... even tho it's after 8pm

Well, I'll be in it if it's the Jan screening, even the Feb screening. As I said in a previous post, I'm already busy on the Dec screening. I'll help organise the tix if you need someone. I promise I will help out this time (unlike before...). I maybe organising something else Star Warsy that you can be invited too, but I'm still working on it.

 

I think the January one might be the one to aim for. Not too soon to make decent plans. The last one was organised in a couple of days and we got 50 people there. With a bit more planning we can do better than that.

 

I'm not sure of my plans for that week, but I'll attempt to be there, possibly get a few others to come along to, who knows.

Shall we assume out city rep will be organising? You can always delegate SJ. I think it might be best to do what we did last time. I.e. Get an idea of numbers and then buy the appropriate number of discount books of tickets. Last time we got them to reserve the middle section for us too.
