oh no I won't be home tomorrow night! I'm going to have to wait all weekend to see the votes! nooooo! *sigh* I will have to go run upstairs during the party to check the last few awards tomorrow, I just know it!

This has been way too much fun. Though I have a few issues I will post after the entire ceremony is over.

Only 2 awards left: Worst Sound. And for the Grand Finale, BEST SCENE.

Do me a favor, watchers of the thread: find something cool that is AOTC-related and send it to me in a PM. I'm looking for images, links to any sounds, some cool quotes, comments you have to add, etc.

If you don't find it for me, I'll find it myself! We're going out with a bang!

Oh, and I (hopefully "we"; i.e. who ever wants to help) will do a part 2 of this in the AOTC forum. And I will be PREPARED this time! What I need from you is feedback on what categories we should have. Check out some early ideas:

BEN BURTT: Hi, everyone. I'm Ben Burtt. I do sounds for Star Wars. I just came here to say thank you to the many voters who couldn't think of a worst sound. To my knowledge, it was the least voted on category with around 133 votes. That seems like a lot but over 200 people voted. This is a true testament to my ability. Oh, and I'm sorry I re-hashed those TPM sounds. I thought you wouldn't notice.

nidiwan - there's only one award left to give out. But I suppose I can count your vote for Best Scene.

 

Why can't we still post our votes. Some of us did not see this thread til late. It was not an award to start off with.

 

Because we have long since counted them all. Jedi_Lite gave us 5 days warning about when the balloting would end. He said it was to be this past Tuesday, and he hasn't counted any more ballots since Tuesday evening. He has announced the winners in every catagory except one.

 

You CAN cast your votes... it's still okay to share your opinion. But they can't be counted, as the awards have all been given out, save one: Best Scene. I'm working on the presentation now.



Feel free to fill out the ballot, as maybe this thread will continue on if people do so. But be aware that the awards presentation began on page 14 and is almost over now.
