Waco, TX AOTC IMAX - shorter.

I just read that they are cutting 13 mins off the movie to make it fit the IMAX platters(reels?).

That means they have to cut things.

What could you do without?

Me, I could do without a lot of the lame 3P0 stuff. Especially the head switching part.

Other than that, I can't think of anything....

 

I can think of a few....every Jar Jar scene. Except I guess the part where he addresses the senate. that's kind of necessary. maybe they could digitally replace him with Salacious Crumb or something. that would be better.

 

The flaceplace stuff can go.

 

Doubt they'd cut the 3PO head switching since that foreshadows the same thing in Cloud City.

Even though I know that Amidala/Anakin have to end up together, part of the scene in that field could go!!

The head incidence doesn't foreshadow anything. All it does is annoy me. Except for the Die Jedi Die thing. I thought that was kinda funny.

 

I can deal without the Anakin & Padme scene on the freighter and the fireplace scene. I think that should knock it down to a considerable length

 

man you guys are so unromantic, I could do with out some of 3-po stuff and since finding out who Owen was is the moxt anit-climatic ever. you could probably cut that to.
