I would go if it's not to early. I work in Chandler till 6:30p. Either way I want to check out the digital screen. But if I can go with some of the same folkz I tormented with my goofyness for 3 days in line, all the better

Showtimes have yet to be posted. That will probably happen on tuesday.

 

I'm up for a digital showing this Saturday, so long as it's not during midday when I'll be stuck at work. So, I guess that is a tentative, "Yo!"

 

Count me in. About the digital showing, I saw AOTC in the digital showing at 12:01 on the 16th and then I took my mom (who loved it by the way) yesterday and we saw it in a regular theater. Every scatch was visible and the picture looked a little fuzzy (to me at least). So the difference is noticable. Spoilers ahead:


Another thing, in the digital showing during the wedding scene Anikin holds Padme's hand with a very skeletal mechanical hand. In the regular film cut it show a different more full hand (like C3PO's) and pans up before he actually grabs Padme's hand. I wonder if there are any other differences?

 

I went to the digital showing on Saturday night, and the difference is amazing. It makes the film version look muddy and dark in retrospect. Also, we went to the 10:20pm showing, bought our tickets in advance, showed up an hour early, and were about 200th in line. I don't know how it will be next weekend, but you might want to ask the theater how long they expect the lines to be.

 

i still plan to go to the showing on saturday with you all!

if we target 5:00pm most of us should plan to be there at least 3 hours prior...whoever can't make that early, we can hold a spot for them, as long as MOST of us are there already...

5pm would be bad for me as well. I won't be off of work in central Phoenix until 5:30pm-ish. What about seeing an 8pm-ish showtime? That should give Diesel_Dave and I time to show up from our respective jobs. 90 minutes is enough time for you DD, right?

7 or 8ish would be better here too...Darth Husband gets off of work on Sat. around 4:30, and we're out in Tempe. Ugh. ~sigh~ Don't know if we'll be able to make it at all though...it's a long way to drive, the weekend between paychecks, and we saw it in the digital theater last Friday.

Well, someone have fun for me if I can't make it!

well, the movie times page i checked has the times up!

BUT!

from what i deduce, the digital showtimes are the limtied ones, which means 5 showings a day, at these times:
(9:00am 12:20pm 3:40pm) 7:00pm 10:20pm

i gather that 3:40pm is too early and 10:20pm is too late, so 7:00pm will probably be the target time now...

 

7pm, eh? Well... I'll be lurking around Arrowhead at about 4 or 5 then.

I just saw the digital last night, and it was well worth the trip to Peoria. I can't wait to see it again this Saturday! I guess if we're already buying tickets for 7pm, I better do the same before we sell them all out.

 

Mick and I will be in San D that evening and won't be able to make it, sorry.

 

It looks like the times have changed to 7:20, but I'm not 100% sure on this. I tried purchasing tix from Harkins's site, but it's only allowing it for today. Does Moviephone or any other site offer tickets ahead of time?

 

If we are going to purchase tickets early can someone get me a ticket? Well, just let me know. I will be there. probably show up around 6.

OK, I just confirmed with the Harkins' Box Office at Arrowhead.

The digital screening as at 7PM, and I just got my tickets from Moviephone.com for the 7PM showing. Tickets are available, so go out and get 'em while you can.

I'll be there early (I assume 3PM), and I'll have my dry erase board showing the PFF info.

Yep it's up. I was FINALLY able to get mine too earlier today.

 

I'll purchase them online too. Probably won't be sold out quite yet.
