The demon whispers swirled in his mind ? soft and seductive, promising power, lusting for blood. His hands had touched Darkness and now they were stained crimson with blood spilled in hate and vengeance...

PREVIEW:

Fingers of sleep unfastened their cloak of unconsciousness from Shmi Skywalker and she allowed herself a few more moments of stillness, just listening. Cliegg?s loud snoring boomed reassuringly from her left; the faint, distant cry of desert wildlife echoed through the thin walls. But the sound of bantha cries that had kept her on edge and Cliegg alert with his shooter by his side for most of the night was mercifully absent.

TATOOINE INCIDENT: DESERT BRAIDS {BERU & PADMÉ}

PREVIEW:

The restlessness of the past nights and days had taken their toll. When Padmé woke up that morning, both suns were high in the sky.
She looked around at once for Anakin. He was not with her, although she vividly remembered going back to him in the garage and wrapping herself around him until sleep came. In fact, she was not in the garage at all. She was back in Beru?s room and she was alone.

 

*slaps herself on the head* Silly me! Can't believe I never read these vignettes before... [face_shocked]

That was awesome! Nervous Anakin asking her about her life during the 10 years gap cracked me up. Padme annoyed by Obi Wan was great too. It made sense that she would be reacting like that since they're clearly invading her privacy.
Anyway great work!
