Sweet, personaly I'm not that into footie but then again everyone seems to get into the world cup if your a fan or not. I was thinking that if england got far the perfect time to rob a bank would be during a match, everyone would be so distracted that they probably wouldnt notice.

Just checking in on this. What the current situation.

Please don't think that i'm nagging or anything, I'm just curious.

 

Uh... its kind of um... gone the way of the last one. I've lost interest and its trailed off, but hey I got a heck of a lot more done than I did last time! Next time I get bored I'll have another crack at it. Current running time: 1:13, Secconds left to do: 42, Likelyhood of me doing them soon: Not good.

I've rendered out the 1:13 in good quality but its a large filesize (was rendering just so it would be one file instead of all the little bits in AE to be rendered, which takes longer) due to the quality being set to high so when I render out again it'll be alright quality. I'll render it out to a reasonable filesize (currently about 200MB) either tomorow or sometime before I head off on holiday and upload it for you to download.

 

Sweet! Can't wait to see all the little bits put together.

Its a shame its tailed off, as the end of the dual is probably the easiest part to do. It just has us running off into the forest and a fairly lengthy shot of the moon (that was done by my brother, not me..).

Still, look forward to seeing the (semi) completed work.

 

Ah thats where you'd be wrong see, parts like that are kind of annoying because you still have to roto pretty closely but theres nothing really major going on in the fight so its like "Ah couldnt this have been cut at the edit room floor or something?"

Suppose you may be right though. I've just watch Rhys' video tutorial on lightsaber rotoscoping and it has answered many of the questions I had about why I can't do it. So who knows, maybe i'll finish it off myself.

Or maybe not....

Maybe Rhys could finish it off!!
