AOTC released on DVD and VHS Nov.12th

Why are they selling this now? Wouldn't it just be easier to wait till episode III has come out on VHS and DVD?

nnone will buy that. Anyone who liked Ep1 enough to buy it now, woulda baught it when it came out. Like myself, I will be buying ep 2 alone.

I will. I just recently got a DVD player, so I never bought Episode I on DVD. So thus this saves me money (or is more convienent) and I will have I & II on DVD.

i myself will probably be waiting until ep 3 is out on DVD before i get the DVDs...oh yeah and i need a DVD player too. but i think when ep 3 is out on DVD that means the OT being out on DVD isn't too far behind.

 

lucas isn't behind that, he tells stories. Its the marketing that does that.

 

Dont hold your breath for the OT on DVD right after EP3.Its gonna take quite awhile to get those movies ready for DVD.It took him along time just to re-release them for the SE.

 

Yeah, he wants to work with them for a while. He even mentioned a possible second special edition.

I dont think its a second special edition,but more of a touched up special edition.Also,dont expect to see the classic OT on DVD either.Lucas has already said that the SE's are the final cut of the films,so thats what you'll see on DVD.

I too will proly buy that. I never got around to buying EPI 1 on DVD cause I just bummed it off my friend (plus I already had it on VHS), and having seen the movie so much it never really moticvated me to get it.

And seeing as my birthday is on the 13th of November, I'm going to be raking in all the goodies that come out around that time

It was our birthday present my preciousss...

 

Thats the greatest day to have a b-day! Last year I did get THE b-day present...my Precioussss, it came to me...

 

Although it is tempting to buy the combo pack,I'll probably wait til its a 3 movie box set.But I might buy AOTC on both DVD and VHS.
