Now let me preface by saying that I actually do really enjoy AOTC. However my feelings toward the film can be broken down into more of a "love/hate" relationship.

So the rules of this game are....well just look below and you will see for yourself.

LOVE: Dooku v. Yoda (Yoda in action rocks)
HATE: Dooku as a character (too one-dimensional)

    LOVE: The Detective story
HATE: The fact that Lucas will never allow the mystery to be solved regarding who erased the Jedi Archives.

    LOVE: The courtship of Padme
HATE: The INSTANT courtship of Padme

    LOVE: Anakin's adult character
    HATE: Anakin's dialogue

LOVE: Jar Jar Binks limited role
    HATE: Jar Jar Binks

LOVE: The pit fight on Geonosis
HATE: The fact that Padme never gets dirty

LOVE: The suspense of Padme in the smelting pot
HATE: The fact that Padme never gets dirty in the smelting pot.

LOVE: The Coruscant chase of Zam Wessell
HATE: The dialogue exchange between Obi and Anakin during the chase.

LOVE: Obi Wan as Anakin's master
HATE: How they never are truly established as friends

    LOVE: The events on Kamino
HATE: Nothing about Kamino...everything on Kamino rocked.

LOVE: How Lucas shows a computer diagram of the Death Star plans on the wall of the Geonosis Headquarters just before they are going to evacuate.
HATE: How Lucas has to have Dooku show the plans one more time just to make sure the audience didn't miss it the first time.

    LOVE: Dooku dueling with Yoda
HATE: The "..but our skills with a light saber" line..seemed too hammy. Suggestion: Just draw the saber don't tell the audience what you are going to do.

    LOVE: Padme's sexier outfits
HATE: That her outfits weren't sexy enough.

LOVE: Padme and Anakin on Naboo
HATE: Anakin's poorly written line of "everything here is soft and smooth"

LOVE: Padme's line "I call it aggressive negotiations"
HATE: The fact that there aren't more wittier exchanges like this....they were all over the original trilogy.

LOVE: Where Padme tells Anakin she actually loves him before they are wheeled out into the Arena.
HATE: The fact that Anakin didn't say, "Well NOW'S a good time to tell me that." Would have been a funny moment.

LOVE: Yoda, Obi Wan and Mace talking together in the Jedi Temple.
HATE: Yoda's stupid little floating pod. Hey George, if you can't make Yoda walk fast enough then change the scene and have the standing still somewhere.

LOVE: Qui Gon speaking to Anakin from beyond.
HATE: That it was constructed of a cut line from Phantom Menace. "Anakin....DROP" (see deleted scenes)

That's about all I can think of for now. Have fun.

LOVE: Lightsabers and everything the're used for.
HATE: How crappy the jedi's skills are who use them, except for the overly glorified Yoda and Windu.

    LOVE: CGI
HATE: Having them in pretty much every scene.

    LOVE: Fruit
HATE: CGI fruit and the scene in which two characters decide to eat some.

    LOVE: The Force.
HATE: How it's not talked about much.

    LOVE: Ewan's characterization of Obi
HATE: GL's handeling of the character. (Gets trapped, zapped, knocked out, can't beat a bounty hunter...etc.)

    LOVE: Logic
HATE: The command to bring Fett back in Obi's one man star fighter.

    LOVE: Kamino
    Hate: Naboo

    :D

    Love: Aayla Secura
Hate: Only masculine portrayals of our most powerful jedi.

HATE: The fact that Lucas will never allow the mystery to be solved regarding who erased the Jedi Archives.

Actually, I do believe Lucas said he'd be answering that in ROTS. :p

HATE: The command to bring Fett back in Obi's one man star fighter.

Wasn't that sort of a plot point, though? Lucas was talking about in the commentary regarding how the Jedi Council was trying to act quickly without much to go on.

    LOVE: Anakin
HATE: Some of the bad dialogue, though I would assume most of it was done on purpose.

    LOVE: Padme
HATE: That I feel Natalie Portman was better in TPM than AOTC.

LOVE: The final lightsaber duel sequences
    HATE: The editing.

    LOVE: Anakin and Pamde's courtship
HATE: Important sequences that would have helped it along were thrown away in the final cut.

    LOVE: The Confession Scene.
HATE: I would have preferred the dialogue between Anakin and Padme ("To be angry is to be human") in the comic to be used over what was seen in the movie. (Or at least extended.)

    LOVE: Samuel L. Jackson
HATE: The character of Mace Windu isn't developed enough to really be defined outside of Jackson's own personality.

    LOVE: Lots of new Jedi.
HATE: Lots of new Jedi dying. *sniff*

    LOVE: All the new planets.
HATE: The continued trend that most planets, excluding places like Naboo, are mostly one extreme terrain.

LOVE: The CGI work in some places.
HATE: The CGI work in some places.

    ^Chaotic Serinity wrote this!

Actually he stuck it in on the end of that scene for the dvd. :D Uh... right? I remember Padme kneeling down next to Anakin and her saying something comforting.

And about the mystery being solved.... hehe... I wont spill the beans, but uh.... there's this book out called Labyrinth of Evil that... uh... kinda... well... hehe...

LOVE: Pure fun and excitement that defines Star Wars
    Hate: Politics [face_plain]

Oh, that I know, but there's another 2-3 lines that weren't added where Padme drags Anakin into a hug and Anakin starts sobbing and babbling on about how he doesn't want to hate them and he's so sorry, blah, blah, blah.

And about the mystery being solved.... hehe... I wont spill the beans, but uh.... there's this book out called Labyrinth of Evil that... uh... kinda... well... hehe...

I know LOE covered it (I haven't read it, but I've heard it's revealed), but given that I've suspected it was either Dooku or Palpatine from AOTC, I think it would be fairly easy to reveal in a line of dialogue or another. If he doesn't, well...that sucks. :p

There's only really one thing that springs to mind...I have to admit, the novel elaborates more on the emotions of the characters than the movie does...I couldn't really feel the emotions that the book describes when watching the film. Even though yes, of course, the book is considerably more detailed. Anyway...

LOVE: The fact that Anakin returns to Tatooine to discover the fate of his mother...and we remeet Watto, etc.
HATE: The mono-emotional way in which the Lars are represented...I mean, I know they lost a family member whom they loved but they seemed caught halfway between some sort of grief and apathy...it was weird.

Also, going back to Lacerus' original post, I didn't actually notice the plans for the Death Star until Dooku showed us again...I think that Lucas assumed we'd be focusing on Poggle (I'm assuming it's the Archduke, no?) and not the plans in the relatively short amount of time between Poggle approaching and downloading them. Dunno, though...it could just be my short-sightedness.

LOVE: The scene in the meadow where Anakin shows a preference for dictatorships.
HATE: The scene in the meadow where Anakin is surfing on the back of the beast.

LOVE: The art direction in the Dooku/Anakin duel.
HATE: Dooku's lines before the Dooku/Yoda duel "it will be decided by our skills with the lightsaber" :p

LOVE: The Kaminoans and their fantastic planet.
HATE: More time wasn't spent on the Ben/Jango fight.

LOVE: The tension between Fett and Ben when Ben was in Jango's apartment.
HATE: That they had Fett's armor out in the open like that.

LOVE: Padme on a cold starship.
HATE: What's there to hate about that? :D

HATE: The lack of friendly scenes between Obi-Wan and Anakin (would of made for a more meaningful duel in Ep.III)

LOVE: Yoda's line "Around the survivors, a perimeter create"
HATE: The blandness of the final duel's environment.

LOVE: Bail Organa's reaction on the final balcony scene, showing his doubt in the Republic's clone army.
