    I was here for a short while in the beginning of 2006 and I enjoyed these boards. Somehow I got caught up in the day-to-day tedium of existance and I slipped away from the boards. I am still as adamant a fan of Star Wars as I always was even if I did vanish for months on end. That being said, I apologize for my long silence and I am looking forward to becoming reacquainted with the boards and with the wonderful people who frequent them.

    Sincerely,
    Shawn

    If you can, you should try to make it out to a meeting. They're a lot of fun and a great way to get all the info on what's happening in the Star Wars world (and most anything else in pop-culture as well). We have a meeting on Friday, check out the "meeting 47 TOA" thread for all the info.

    I wish that I could make it to the meeting on Friday. I have classes on Friday nights and I don't drive. I bike commute to school (seven miles each way) and can get to anything in Oxnard. Anything further out is too far for me to trek, I'm afraid.

    Looks like about a 4 mile ride from his area to Pirates. Probably more than he'd wanna ride. I would love an excuse to try that place though.

    Four miles is nothing. I ride seven each way to and from school. Speaking of which, I just got home from one of those rides.

    Hmmm... maybe we can do Pirates next time then. That would be sweet.

    I've seen that place and wondered about it!

    Sounds like we'll have to pick something other than a Friday night.

    Nassik, what's your schedule like? Is your Friday class like 5-10? Or 7-10? Or...? Maybe times could be worked around.

    Have fun at the meeting tonight, everyone! I'll be at my retreat, planning for the MOMS year. Oh, that and hoping to be awake enough to drive home afterward!

    My schedule is full but predictable...

    Monday= OPEN
    Tuesday= Lodge meeting 7-10 PM
    Wednesday= class from 6-10 PM
    Thursday= class 6-10 PM
    Friday= class from 6-10 PM
    Saturday= OPEN
    Sunday= OPEN

    I leave early Tuesday through Friday (in order to give myself enough time to bike to my destination).
