You can't really name a baby until you see it.

You might have names all picked out and then when you see it for the first time it might not be an "Emily" or a "Corran" ;)

So you want a prostitute for a daughter? Or a country western singer. :)

Actually, how perfect would that be! Take the music talent her dad so happily gave her and twist the hell out of it. :D

I'll let you know that Jadzia is the short form of the Polish name Jadwiga (you won't be able to pronounce any of those correctly anyway). It was the name of the first Polish ruling (albeit shortly) queen (15th century), who then became a saint of Roman Catholic church.

We (well I) pronounce it An-a-stay-zee-ah.

    Americans probably pronounce it An-a-star-zee-ah.

    Just like Oh-reg-gar-no and Oreg-gano :p

That's the correct Russian prounounciation, Cass but stupid Americans have dumbed it down to Annastasha. BLECK! NOOOOO, that's not right! I've tried to fix it....they just look at me funny. :(

Anyway, I love that name. I think I need to have another girl. We'll call her Anya for short. :)

I like the name Anya also. If I ever have a girl I will name her that.

More original than the rest of my family who are named either Jeannette, Caroline or Mary
