April '03 Meet -- Franklin Park Zoo

I finished making the charoset. There's not going to be any wine in it though since our guests drank all of it last night at the seder. It's still good though. I think there is enough for everybody to have a taste.

People waiting at the zoo:
The bus only leaves the T stop once every 30 minutes on Saturdays (according to the website), so don't think we are ditching you.
Ideally we will catch the 12:30 pm bus and make it to the zoo soon afterwards.

 

The zoo was very fun.
I have 47 pictures that turned out will. Unfortunately the indoor monkey ones were all blurry, and didn't turn out. My favorite picture is the crocodile wrestling one.

Great pictures Tony. It was a fun time and alot of laughs.
I have not been to the zoo in such a long time.
Thank God I ate earlier, the hot dogs looked a little suspicious.

I had a lot of fun at the meet too. Though I could have done with a few less peacock jokes....

Hello, hello, everyone. I'm new here and slightly confused, so excuse my posting in a random spot. Boston Rebels, huh? I'm very excited. I've never belonged to a local club, but I'd like to. And I was looking at the homepage... do you really only have two active female members? Boo... we'll have to fix that. I'm going to try to become active, really, I am. Well, anyway, just wanted to announce my presence. Y'all sound like a fun group of people.

We meet every 3rd Saturday of the month (unless otherwise noted). I'm glad you found the website. It needs a little updating cuz we just had our April meet. I hope you can join us for the May meet -- we are going to see The Matrix. Dave (our Event Coordinator) will probably post that thread soon.
Yes, we only have 2 females who go to meets, but hopefully we can change that.
