I'm coming, but this will have to be my last meeting until September. I'm going home for the summer and will come back to UofC in the fall. However I will be out for the stampede and Con-Version at least.
I'm not even going to be in Canada the week of the 10th! I can't believe I'm missing three secret rebel meetings augh! If I don't make up for this I think they might revoke my Geek card ;-p
I'm going to drop in to say hi, but it absolutely kills me to say that I won't be able to stay the whole time. I need to take off before the shield doors close, just like Han in ESB...
I highly recommend that anyone who can attend the meeting, PLEASE attend the meeting. Even if you can't stay for our 'special presentation', please make an effort to make the meeting. We have to give out some important info regarding the upcoming Comic & Entertainment Expo, on May 7th. For starters, I've been asked to get a listing of ALL attendees, what costumes they'll be wearing, and a group shot (they want to post it on the official Expo website). I think it would be great if we could take a picture with everyone in costume, but I know it's short notice for many. Perhaps we can set up a another day to do this???? We've only got a month before the show and they'd like the picture up as soon as possible (this would also be great exposure for our group! ). More details at the meeting. Hope to see everyone there!
If you don't have a costume for the picture, don't worry. For those who have costumes, are you able to be in gear for Monday? You don't have to wear it the entire time - just long enough to take the picture. Please post if you're able to. If not everyone can do it, we can arrange another time to take the photo. Thanks.
Is the picture just for the people who will be attending the expo, or can people who will be in Hawaii at that time get in the picture?
The picture is for ALL FF members. Seeing as how time is an issue and not everyone will have enough time to change into costumes, if you feel disinclined to wear your gear, don't worry. Wear your favourite Star Wars t-shirt. We just need a pic of the entire group. See you Monday!!

Awesome meeting everyone. Glad to see the new faces, it was great having you guys there. "Always a pleasure to meet a Jedi," as the Mandos say. If you're able, check out the lightsaber classes.
