April 2014 meeting - Village Inn, 4/19 @ 2 PM

I'm positive we will be talking about May the Fourth. One big item I want to mention is, the Outlaw troop is for LFL costumed groups, so if you have a good guy or bad guy costume and haven't went through the approval process, get on it. RMFF members are not an official LFL costume group therefore out members are not able to troop the Outlaw game in costume. Sorry, but I just got this info and wanted to make sure everyone knows in time to do something about it. I know we have several X-Wing pilots that haven't signed up for RL members, so do it!

This isn't a snub, we've made sure to make our group different by not needing a costume to be a member, and I like that about us

 

One week until meeting reminder bump

 

Another Saturday I have to work. If I do not see any of you before DCC, I'll see you all then. FYI, I will be working may the 4th weekend too

 

So, back to 5/4, we have been contacted by the Outlaws and may have a special guest to talk to us as well. It looks like we will be invited so we will have to see what they have in mind but I'm thinking handlers would be a good idea. Whenever alcohol is involved it gets crazy.

 

I think I can make this meet up

 

If we don't have to go down south on Saturday we plan on attending.

 

We have too much going on this Saturday and won't be able yo make the meeting. Have fun!

Some load in will be done Friday or Saturday.
Main setup will be on Sunday starting at 7am
Event runs from 9am to 3pm

Denver Outlaws Star Wars Night Package Deal includes museum admission, ticket to the game, and transportation from the museum to the stadium and back, and the first 50 sold get a guaranteed seat in the X-Wing cockpit. Transportation starts at 2 or :2:30

Food trucks will be there, but likely there will be pizza or sandwiches provided by the museum. Water will also be provided. Anything else is your responsibility.

Need a list of NAMES for who will be helping out no later than May 1st.

Girl Scouts will be running the craft area this year.

Need people to manage lines, hand out sabers, dress up, and direct traffic.

Clean up starts at 3pm, and usually takes about an hour.

 

Annnnd I just realized it was Saturday...

Introductions

May the 4th + Outlaws Game

Denver Comic Con
-Merc ticket money due by April 30

Annual Summer BBQ
- July in Longmont at Shane and Courtney’s house. Date TBD.

Float:
-New float for next year? Fresh paint – use same one next year?
-Need design ideas if we go that direction. TBD.

T-shirts:
-Issues with colors and sizes
-Orchid color is now lilac
-rusty bronze and dusty blue in XL were out of stock. Picked close colors to it.
-May have them next week. Retrieval information will follow.

Starfest:
-We have a table at Starfest (May 2 – 4). RMFF will man it on Saturday, Rebel Legion on Sunday. New location will be in atrium.
