Hey, I know I haven't been on here in a while, but I would definitely love to tag along with you guys. I'll have to ask off, of course. I doubt I'll be buying any of the toys(well, maybe a few). I'm really wanting the "Art of ROTS", and "The Making of...", if they're coming out with one...

I think Amy mentioned this in one of the threads before, but I'm not sure which one. On Friday, April 1st at midnight - Twilight Comics in Belleville is having a Star Wars release party. I'm thinking about going and wanted to see if anyone else was interested.

Here's the low-down. You have to reserve a spot by March 22nd. The "admission fee" is you have to buy at least 1 starter set of the Revenge of the Sith miniatures or two booster sets. (Priced at $19.99 and $12.99 respectively)

All their SW items will be buy 1 - get 1 half price

They will have free pizza, attendance prizes, trivia contests and the guy I talked to said they will be hosting games for the SW miniatures.

Anybody interested?

 

I had been thinking about that, but the only thing comic related I want is the ROTS comic. Besides, it's an early morning the next day.

I don't know about you guys, but days like April 2nd are to me what Christmas morning used to be like when I was younger.

I could probably go without sleeping the night of the first, it's the anticipation!

 

Gimme details and I'll go. (gonna need that half-off stuff. I'm fixin' to get the LEGO Turbo Tank.)

I think they just do comics and the SW miniatures. I might run by there before then and see if they sell figures and such.

 

Then I may not go. I plan to go to Wal-Mart or Toys 'R' Us that night.

 

All merch, books, toys, comics, etc. In fact, I saw at Wal-Mart tonight displays for "Celebrating the Star Wars saga April 2nd and 3rd" and also a sign for the ROTS Hardcover for April 2nd. So it was cool to see, only a couple weeks now till all that cool stuff!

 

Just to let you all know, I'm planning on winning the lottery the night before on April 1st, so I will have lots of money to spend come April 2nd.
