Nope. No April Fools here. We actually will vote to see if we want to read the oddest Wars book ever, the Crystal Star. Luke may be able to resist Waru, but can you?

Also on this list, the long awaited Knight Errant (which comes out a week before our Feb. book club so I put it here). Knight Errant fits 30 years before the rise of Bane, when the galaxy has all gone to sith. Can one lone Jedi save the galaxy? Again?

Who shot first? Find out (not really) in Tales of the Cantina. A collection of short stories all set around one of the most memorable scenes in cinema history.

Gonna go with Knight Errant

 

I'm going with the Crystal Star on this one, if only to be the bad guy here and get everyone to read the strangest SW book I've ever read.

While I absolutely could not put Tales of the Mos Eisley Cantina down when I first read it, I would have voted for that had it not been pitted against The Crystal Star. I think everyone should read the horror of what a bad SW novel can be...lol.

Besides that, terrible as it may be, it still IS a SW story, so good or bad, it should be read.

Gonna have to go with Knight Errant on this one. If I never see Crystal Star again, it'll be too soon. *whimper*

 

I don't think that The Crystal Star is "ever" going to win on one of these polls...lol!

However, it is fun to vote on it.


Maybe we should make reading it like an initiation into the book club...like, if you can stomach reading this book, you're in....LOL!

Maybe the next book club co-leader HAS to read and write an essay on The Great Waru.

I went with Knight Errant, simply because I want to know what was going on before Lord Bane entered the building. There goes the neighborhood.
