    I liked merging all the movie forums. I like deleting Comms.

    About 4-5 years ago I posted a picture on Facebook of a digital pregnancy test which, if you clicked on it and zoomed, you could see "Just kidding" photoshopped in where "pregnant" normally would be.

    My aunt replied "Not fair to us old people."

    The fake MS they did that one year (before I was a mod) was still the best, imo.

    That was probably the year right after I think? 2003 may be right, with the fake MS being 2002.

    The Cincy Bengals had a clever April Fools joke where they announced a helmet change. Funny part is they were taking a shot at their rival, the Cleveland Browns, who really did do the following:

    The two pranks I really remember being great fun were the fake MS and the fake Episode IV forum. The reason those were fun was because they weren't even remotely plausible and everyone knew they were jokes, but just played along and had a good time anyway. Those two forums essentially turned into some really great long-form improv as everyone just went with it. Good times with those two. Most of the time they were lame.

    I'm glad that in recent years, AFD has been de-emphasized around here; nothing was done (IIRC, that is :p ) last year, and this year's edition was very milquetoast. A most welcoming trend.

    That was glorious. :D I "accidentally made the MS public" and promptly got "demoted and banned". :p My favourite part of the fake MS was the "Edit each other's posts war" thread. :p

    Back in high school I had a friend who used to get really pissed off whenever someone joked about him eating McDonalds or Big Macs(he wasn't even fat). So what I did was I stood behind him and talked to him while he was opening his locker, watched and found out his combination, and then for the next month or 2 me and my friends went to McDonalds every day and got Big Macs. We took the Big Mac boxes back and stashed them in an empty locker. When it was the day before April Fools, we filled his locker to the top with Big Mac boxes, hid all his belongings behind them. All you could see was Big Mac boxes.

    On April fools I waited till he was about to open his locker and staged an intervention. The principal made us clean out his locker afterwards but it was so worth it.
