Spring, MO April Meeting

I figured I would start a thread... weekends include:

3/4
14/15 (this is the best for me)
21/22 (this is the Comic Con weekend, so some of us will be down in the Cape)
28/29

Is there any interest? Any suggestions on what? How about a BBQ/Picnic since I am feeling springy...

 

Whatever works, I'm gone the 7/8 possibly at the end of the month too. This will probably be my last or second to last meeting before I move.

I'm starting to get in the mood for camping.

 

I'll be down the 20th for the Hospital visit, so I'll just catch whoever's gonna be there for that

I looked up the price to rent a space at the Kirkwood park. It is $10 for an open space, which I can do, but I want to be sure people will come... LOL. We could grill and run around with our lightsabers. And I have a volleyball set-up if anyone is interested.

But I need a head count. And feel free to bring your families...

I will have to see gang, I have a test that day at 9 am.

BBQ the weekend of the 14/15 sounds good to me as well but what if we end up with one of our typical April thunderstorms or even a good downpour? How much is it for an area with a pavilian?

Ok, we will shoot for the 14th.

Kirkwood Park is within 5 miles of my house...we can race here if it rains. The cover sites are $30, which if everyone wants to chip in, I could get that instead. Of course they may all be taken. I will call tomorrow and arrange.

hmm, food stuff... here is a basic list and everyone can cut and paste in what they want to bring. The general BBQ fixin's...

Hambugers/hot dogs or other
Chips
Salad (?)
Condiments
Paper plates
Utensils (which I have plenty of, or we may have some left from the Regional Dajuan?)
Drinks
Desert

I can't wait to get out and play!!

 

I don't personally, those didn't move with me the last time (or if they did who knows where they ended up). Still I think we have some floating around the house here I could bring.

 

Not a problem. I have plenty. Please let me get rid of them.

 

I could try to bring some burgers, dogs and buns.

 

I could bring cheese.
and/or chips.

 

Somone will need to bring the charcoal and starting fluid also.

 

I will probably bring dessert of some kind. Chocolate cake or brownies and we're probably good for a pack of hot dogs too.
