Well today was about as awesome as you get! I met with Jessica and Trisha at Citizens Bank Arena today and it went just sterling! See pics below.

I got tons of swag for us to give away and raffle here folks. They were so generous in what they gave us. I told them how we'll promote the heck out of this event for them at FCBD and at SW Day and everywhere in between. Here's what we got to give and use and keep...


High Quality Concert Posters on poster board...we'll display this in our booth.

5000 high quality post cards to hand out with our bookmark to guests who stop by the table.

Mention the famous IEFF, folks will get discounted tickets for the event and save $9.00 per ticket!

I got a Luke, Vader, Stormtropper standee...will be donating these to the library for promotion of SW Day.

If we want to go as a group, the IEFF will not only get discounted tickets of $34 but SPECIAL SEATING just for us.


Lastly...drum roll please...We've got EIGHT TICKETS to the concert to Raffle off for both FCBD and SW Day. We'll do a family four pack and two drawings for two tickets each!!! Isn't that awesome folks? As I said, Trisha and Jessica were so generous with all this! I was doing the happy dance in my head the whole time!

What can I say "You One Bad Dude" this is great everyone is going to go nuts at the table.

 

Allen & I didn't get a tour, we didn't take pix either. I wonder if we were even really there. I couldn't help wondering, how do they keep their desks so clean.

We've been asked to be a part of this awesome event! You should all be proud of yourselves for what you're apart of as in this group. This is EXACTLY the HIGH PROFILE event we want to be apart of. This definitely looks awesome on the IEFF resume to say the least! To have this tied in with SW Day the day before...we couldn't ask for anything better!

Minutes from 4/25/10


Free Comic Book Day May 1, 2010. Starts at 11am - 4pm. For the IEFF, we should be there around 9am to help with set up. Mike and Shelia will be there then. The Hanchewie clan around the same time. We are going to have the raffle start at the FCBD and end at the library event on the 29th of May at the table. Fliers will be passed out for the Star Wars Day at the Paul Biane Library at this event. We will have sign up sheets for 1 hour shifts for that day. Mike passed the sign up sheet for FCBD and Star Wars Day at the library at the meeting.

Star Wars Day at the library May 29th 1pm - 4pm. The Hanchewie clan will be there around 10am. Please go to the threads for more details. Exciting stuff that is going to happen. Adam gave more info at the meeting, but please go to the threads for more.

Star Wars Day at Disneyland is Sunday this year June 27, 2010. So. Cal residents $72. Order shirts online, 2pm for the big picture of everyone that day. There is a thread for this.


Ideas for generating money are needed. Need dontations for the raffle for FCBD and Library event.


Elections are coming up in June. Go to the threads to nominate someone for President, Vice President, secretary, or tresurer of the group.


I know there is a new charter for the dues. I failed to write down the idea about this. Hopefully a thread will come up about this.
